My life:

I love more than I fight, I make lists, and I take pictures.  I'm a wife and a mother to my 1 year old son plus our 2 pups, Gertrude and Roscoe. As I get older, I'm tapping in to my artsy side and enjoying being creative.  

This blog is about our life, things we like, stuff we learn and interesting people we know and meet. 

My philosophy:

I like to say I'm 'nurturing a nature lover'. We use cloth diapers, compost our food scraps, shop at a farmers market grocery store and reduce-reuse-recycle religiously. It pains me to see aluminum cans thrown away. But we also have some plastic toys and regular, gas fed cars too (at least until we can upgrade). We do what we can, but aren't about to go off the grid. We care about the environment and want our kiddo to have an appreciation for mother nature too. 

My photography:

I bought a great camera in the summer of 2009 and fell in love with photography.  I believe every mother deserves beautiful pictures of her baby, and they should be able to have them at a reasonable price (because it's expensive to have a baby!) I love to take pictures that capture the moment, the sweetness of a baby, as well as the shots that make you laugh (because those are family treasures as well).  If you like what you see on my blog and are interested in a shoot (and live or visit the Dallas area) I would love to hear from you.
